$27,000 was allocated for the Department to purchase much-needed new and critical vests that are essential for community safety, ensuring our officers remain protected as they serve. This funding ensures that our officers remain protected while they serve. It also emphasizes the importance of donations for public safety, which help enhance vital resources. In November 2025
another $7,500 was allocated to support and protect newly hired officers.

- Auto Thefts are down 28%
- Larcenies are down 21%
- Damage to Property down an amazing 47%
Add all of this to the overall drop in crime we saw in 2024, we are seeing a significant improvement as we take advantage of new technologies to protect our citizens.
